| C3500 Pen does not right click! The button located on the side of my stylus pen has no effect in performing the right-click feature. I double checked my settings on the pen settings of the control panel, and the box is checked that enables this feature. I thought I had the updated driver from the Averatec website, but I can't think of what else is causing this. The pen does perform the right-click action if I press the pen against the screen and linger on one object. A little mouse icon with the right clicker marked in red appears, and I can see the drop down menu by moving the pen away from the screen for a second. |

| Re: C3500 Pen does not right click! Which pen drivers do you use? Are they the Wacom drivers? I see nine posted updates on the Averatec site (http://www.averatec.com/customercare/3500dl.htm) which seem to be for other purposes, including November updates to the video card and Tablet digitizer. Did your machine come with XP SP2 and the Tablet PC Edition 2005 installed? If not, and you added the update later, I would suggest downloading the available component updates and reinstalling them. -- Chris H. | Re: C3500 Pen does not right click! I reinstalled the updates which I thought would update the pen's features, but I am still experiencing the same problem. The machine came with XP Tablet, and I installed SP2 last week, although I still experienced this issue with SP1. "Chris H." wrote: > Which pen drivers do you use? Are they the Wacom drivers? | Re: C3500 Pen does not right click! Have you contacted Averatec support? I'm really not familiar with the system, so I don't know if there is a possibility of multiple settings for the pen buttons. Do you have Pen and Tablet Settings in Control Panel, plus possibly Averatec settings off the All Programs listing? -- Chris H. | Re: C3500 Pen does not right click! The other thought, does your Averatec come with a program like Sensiva's Symbol Commander? There are some settings in the program which will negate the button use in favor of using that program's alternatives. -- Chris H. | Re: C3500 Pen does not right click! Perhaps a silly question, but is your pen button enabled? Control Panel > Tablet and Pen Settings > Pen Options > use pen button to right click.
