We have 15 Acer Travelmate C110 tablet PC's that we use for our plant
operations. After installing Windows XP SP2, we have noticed that the
on-screen keyboard can either be docked at the top or the bottom of the
screen, but can no longer be moved around the screen to different locations.
Is there any kind of a software update, reg hack, etc. that resolves this
issue?

That is the behavior with Tablet PC Edition 2005. The floating or Tablet
Input Panel access icon will appear on-screen only when the cursor is in a
text input area and the pen is within approximately 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch of
the screen when the TIP is in Undock mode. It is nearby the input area and
a simple tap will invoke the full TIP for ease of use. When the pen is
lifted from the screen proximinity (and out of the digital recognizer range)
the TIP disappears . . . until the next time.
