Turning off Handwriting Recogniser

Is it possible to turn off the 'Handwriting Recogniser' in Windows XP Tablet
PC Edition? (so the OS will recognise characters but won't give word
suggestions)
If this is possible I would like to know how...

I think if you enter characters with a slight pause after each one that the characters are interpreted individually.

Re: Turning off Handwriting Recogniser

In the Tablet Input Panel/Options, set a time for automatically inserting
the text "after a pause." You won't get the word suggestions beneath you
writing, but the text will be inserted.

Re: Turning off Handwriting Recogniser

If you are using SP2, then you can tap the middle button on the far left of
the TIP. This puts the TIP into character recognition mode.
