| Re: Acer Tablet and Bluetooth Do you actually have Bluetooth installed? Most OEMs offer it as an Option, and you must specify it in your purchase. -- Chris H. | Re: Acer Tablet and Bluetooth I had a problem with bluetooth on my acer. I reloaded the drivers, modified my bluetooth configuration in the control panel, everything I could think of. It just would not work... ....until I realized that I had to hit the darn "bluetooth" button above the keyboard for it to physically turn on. Doh. Then the bluetooth light came on up above the screen (you know, where the wireless, caplocks, and hard drive indicator lights are) and everything. Now I can back up my contacts on my cell phone. I am totally not saying that you haven't tried the button technique yet, I am just sharing my experience. ; ) Is your bluetooth light on? -callahan "Chris H." <winxpnews********.com> wrote in message news:eiDfBAbAFHA.3492@TK2MSFTNGP12.phx.gbl... > Do you actually have Bluetooth installed? | Re: Acer Tablet and Bluetooth According to my specs, it does have it. In the Laptop manager it is grayed out, and I remember that once it worked. I just have NOT tried it in a long time. | Re: Acer Tablet and Bluetooth I learned the button trick early on on this unit with WIFI, but there should be a check box in the pop up box that shows up after pressing the button, but their is only the WIFI choice. | Re: Acer Tablet and Bluetooth The early acer C110s listed bluetooth as built-in, and then later as an option, but none of the U.S. units have it. If you have a C110 (not a custom C111 or C112) sold in the U.S. then you probably do not have bluetooth installed. Acer actually changed it's promotional material for the C110/C111 in the U.S. to reflect this. I think some folks are still threatening to sue because the promotional material was so misleading.
