| Re: Onscreen Keyboard That is a bit of a complicated matter, Paul, because you would need prepared user accounts first, then invoke a classic logon screen as described in this Knowledge Base article: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;291559 How many Tablet PCs are you talking about, and what control over the user accounts do you have? You may be able to prepare the Windows XP SP2 update with Sysprep, to set the logon requirement, as described here: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;302577 but I honestly don't know how you would capture the individual account/password information beyond the Administrator account. And I wouldn't suggest running each Tablet PC in "the" Administrator account because you remove the fall-back security of being able to use that account to fix a corrupted User account. Do you have a local Microsoft account representative you could contact? -- Chris H. | Re: Onscreen Keyboard We do have it as classic logon (alt-ctrl-del). We have 15 tablets and any of the 15 user can logon to them. We created local accounts on each but we can't get the onscreen keyboard to come up at (alt-ctrl-del). | Re: Onscreen Keyboard Okay, you're a bit above my knowledge here, but it would seem to me the image would be prepared with a policy set to invoke "Use the Welcome screen" which would present user accounts each one would need to tap, and then they'd use the graphical keyboard to logon with a password. If the Use the Welcome screen is off by default, then you will get the ctrl-alt-del function. -- Chris H.
