Number Lock on by default

Hi, Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

I have one of these Gateway Tablets that doubles as a notebook (with the old
style keyboard). I have a fresh install of Windows Tablet PC 2005. The
number lock function is on the keyboard, so "ujmik,ol." are the number lock
keys. When I boot the machine, the onscreen keyboard appears, and it turns
on the number lock. This is problematic because I cannot enter my password
to log on without turning number lock off. This is fine for me, but I have a
wireless classroom where students have to log on. Is there anyway to prevent
the on-screen keyboard from coming on or number lock from coming on when the
machines boot up? Thanks again!

Be cautious, because this Microsoft Knowledge Base article solution requires
editing the Registry:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;170903 Always back
up the Registry before making any changes. 8-)
