| Number Lock on by default Hi, Thanks in advance for any help you can give. I have one of these Gateway Tablets that doubles as a notebook (with the old style keyboard). I have a fresh install of Windows Tablet PC 2005. The number lock function is on the keyboard, so "ujmik,ol." are the number lock keys. When I boot the machine, the onscreen keyboard appears, and it turns on the number lock. This is problematic because I cannot enter my password to log on without turning number lock off. This is fine for me, but I have a wireless classroom where students have to log on. Is there anyway to prevent the on-screen keyboard from coming on or number lock from coming on when the machines boot up? Thanks again! |

| Re: Number Lock on by default Be cautious, because this Microsoft Knowledge Base article solution requires editing the Registry: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;170903 Always back up the Registry before making any changes. 8-) -- Chris H.
