M200 Toshiba Dual-Monitor

Ok - This is borderline Tablet PC question :) I know that a few of your
MVP's are running M200's so I was hoping you could help me out. I'm trying
to setup Dual Monitors with my NVIDIA Ge-Force FX Go 5200 card. Anyway,
it's working pretty welll, except I want to switch my primary monitors
around. I want to use my 23" SyncMaster as the Window 1 and my Tablet as
Window 2. The problem is, i can get to the "Use this device as the primary"
in the Display Properties/Settings section. It's grayed out. Depending on
which window in the display you click on, it's either checked or not
checked, but both of them are grayed out. Any idea how to work around this?

I don't have an external handy right now to try this, but give this order a
shot.

Start up, and hit the Function+F5 key during bootup to switch to external
monitor only.

Once windows is up and running on the external monitor, see if you can then
get into the desktop properties to turn on "second" monitor (LCD panel at
this point) and extend the desktop to it.

I *know* it can be done because I've had users who ended up *accidentally*
with what you want to do intentionally. But without the monitor handy at the
moment I can't test it to see if doing it this way will turn on the LCD as
the second monitor and keep the external one as the primary.
