| recovering the buttons on the writing pad When I start a line of text on the writing pad, I have, over on the right, buttons for Bksp, Del, Tab, Enter, Space, etc. As the line of text gets longer, this panel of buttons vanishes to make room for the text. How do I get it back again? Thanks Allan Jones |

| Re: recovering the buttons on the writing pad They will return after you Insert text, Allan. I've got some suggestion/tutorials on my web site in my signature line, and there is a streaming or download Support Webcast from Microsoft about the 2005 Tablet Input Panel usage here: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;888888 -- Chris H. Thanks. Actually I had noticed that inserting the text brought the buttons back. I assumed there must be another way to bring the buttons back prior to insterting the text. It's conceivable that you might want to use the buttons on the text before you insert it. >I've got some suggestion/tutorials on my web site in my signature line, and >there is a streaming or download Support Webcast from Microsoft about the >2005 Tablet Input Panel usage here: >http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;888888 OK. Thanks. I'll have a look. Thanks also for your answer to my earlier query (4 Jan) about text input not working properly when I had when my M200's screen is in portrait orientation. I tried to answer your message, but for some reason the system didn't accept my reply. Anyway, updating the Toshiba display driver did the trick. I'm rather surprised that the Toshiba site doesn't allow for an automatic update of drivers, rather as you can automatically update Windows. It's tedious updating them all individually. Allan > |
