go? I have not found a active area for people interested in these...
perhaps the time for them is past but I find them interesting..

Sorry, but it really doesn't have anything to do with Tablets really
since they use a full-blown version of Windows. Try a Windows CE or
PocketPC newsgroup, or even one of the non-Microsoft pen-related newsgroups.

just thought I might find someone that had some background on this... it is
interesting that information on these units is slowly evaporating... there
is nothing on the Microsoft site re: them.

Sure, but best to digging closer to somewhere where the information is
likely to be.
