Using Tablet PC Input Panel to Print in All CAPS/

I just started using the Tablet PC tody. I am trying to get it to sync with
one of my database program. When using the Tablet PC Input Panel, the words
are being placed in the appropriate fields, but they have the first letter
capitalized only. Is there a way that I can have all the letters inputted
return capitalized. The program will only except capital letters.

Use the Tablet Input Panel keyboard, but with "caps" tapped first.

Wouldn't that kind of defeat the purpose of using a pen, if you are only going to
use it to tap out words on a desktop keyboard?

It would if that was the *only* thing you did, but the problem case is
much more restricted.

Yes, but you could also print each letter, then make corrections. The
apparent expected behavior is to have a regular case on each word. Might be
a good suggestion for a future version, though.

Re: Using Tablet PC Input Panel to Print in All CAPS/

Using the Tablet Keyboard is just too tedious. I may as well have purchased
a laptop. I am piloting this device in a hospital setting and the "pen" idea
was a real selling point with administration. I guess I will have to try
something else. Thanks for the help.

Re: Using Tablet PC Input Panel to Print in All CAPS/

Then just use the Character Pad. As Tablet PC Fritz Switzer has said, you
could also just use a simple text file created in Notepad to save specific
words and when you run across the required usage, you simply copy/paste to
the location. Works really well for location-specific words, including
passwords you need to have prepared in advance.

BTW - If you have specific medical field requirements, you may want to
communicate with Fritz via his web site: www.abletfactory.com where he has
Special Interest Dictionaries.
