Using the Pen to sign documents

Can it be done, and how? I'm looking at Word, and PDF files.

One can write a signature in Word.

It could be done in a PDF if Adobe Acrobat is available.

A really great piece of software for adding comments ad annotations
(incl. handwritten stuff like a signature) is the "PDFAnnotator" [1].
I would nit want to miss it in my TabletPC.

Thanks. PDF Annotator looks like it just might be what I'm looking for.
Right now, I have to print the document, sign it and then re-scan it.

Awful procedure ...

Just test the PDFAnnotator. The demo is fully functional.
