| Re: Alt-tab If you're in a program where the floating TIP isn't available, use the keyboard in the docked position. Tap the Alt, then tap Tab. | Re: Alt-tab May be, but glad that it works. Seemed odd that it didn't. I didn't take a long time hunting, just looked at the options listed. Thanks for the reply, but Im confused. What do you mean by using the keyboard in a docked position. I don't have a docking station and the keyboard is covered by the screen after it is rotated and place on top. |

| Re: Alt-tab Sorry I wasn't clear enough. You can use the onscreen keyboard by using a gesture to bring it up. Move the pen from side to side slightly above the bottom of the screen to bring up the onscreen keyboard. This puts it at the bottom of the screen (docked position). You always have access to the onscren keyboard, even when the physical keyboard isn't available. -- Terri Stratton Editor / Owner http://thetabletpc.net http://themediacenterpc.net Subscribe to our RSS Feeds for the latest news Microsoft Windows MVP / Tablet PC "Neal Stoughton" <nmstough@uci.edu> wrote in message news:BDF359D1.236DE%nmstough@uci.edu... > On 12/25/04 15:42, in article #iTBdtt6EHA.2600@TK2MSFTNGP09.phx.gbl, > "terri" > <support@thetabletpc.net> wrote: > >> If you're in a program where the floating TIP isn't available, use the >> keyboard in the docked position. | Re: Alt-tab Hi Neal I use the freeware program StrokeIt, and assigend a pen gesture, e.g. down-up stroke to Alt-Tab. It will act as if you press Alt+Tab once BUT it does not give you the ability to have the SwitchTask window openend and let you scroll through all open application. If I need this, I rather use the Toshiba M200's CrossMenu utility. br, Marcus M Sommer Toshiba M200 "Neal Stoughton" wrote: > Sure, for ordinary use, but when youre giving a presentation in public > (which is the major reason I bought a tablet) its very unprofessional to > have to bring up the virtual keyboard when you just want to switch between > applications. > > On 12/25/04 18:22, in article #whvPHv6EHA.1204@TK2MSFTNGP10.phx.gbl, "Chris > H." <winxpnews********.com> wrote: > > > Me too. 8-) > > -- > > Chris H. > > Microsoft Windows MVP/Tablet PC > > Tablet Creations - http://nicecreations.us/ > > Associate Expert > > Expert Zone - www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone > > > > > > "terri" <support@thetabletpc.net> wrote in message > > news:OGYrtyu6EHA.2632@TK2MSFTNGP10.phx.gbl... > >> May be, but glad that it works.
