| Recognizer Pack breaks TIP A few months ago, someone posted a problem where the floating TIP in SP2 wouldn't insert spaces between multiple lines. If you write the following text over two lines like so: -- The quick brown fox jumps over -- and then insert the text, the inserted text is: -- The quick brown foxjumps over -- Notice the missing space between "fox" and "jumps". The fix then was to reinstall -- the cause was unknown. I recently encountered this problem too and I've tracked it down to the Tablet PC 2005 Recognizer Pack. It must do something to the TIP because of the way other languages work (Japanese for example, wouldn't require the inter-line space). It would be very, very nice if Microsoft could fix this. I've already had to completely wipe my tablet HDD and reinstall several times to track down the cause and the recoery process is *not* fast. Next time I think I'll use restore points (forgot about those). Regards, ^Tum |

| Re: Recognizer Pack breaks TIP Just FYI: I posted the "quick brown fox" problem. In my case I never explicitly installed any additional recognizer packs (however, I may have unwittingly installed one as part of an SDK?)
