Using 1 gig SD card in HP TC1100

Just wondering if anyone had used a Pretec 1gig SD card in a TC1100? I insert
the card and and doesn't seem to recognise it. I can use it in my Toshiba
E750 and my Sharp Cell Phone.
I called HP and they said it was an issue with Windows SP2 and to either
roll back to pre SP2 or get a smaller size card. Mmmm not really a good
answer !

Anyone know of a fix?

Cheers
JR

Re: Using 1 gig SD card in HP TC1100

JR, I don't have the unit you've got, but I checked HP's web site -
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/fi...e/97_5840.html -
and it appears they have numerous drivers for your TC 1100 updated since the
release of XP SP2. I noticed specifically an October 20, 2004, release for
the 4in1 CardReader, too.

It seems the easiest way is to blame XP SP2, rather than solve problems.
