Re: Pen keeps writing when not touching the tablet.

Could very well be a battery, John, but I don't know how long they last.
Glad you like (or is it love?) your Tablet. 8-)

You might try recalibrating the pen in Control Panel/Tablet and Pen
Settings. You might also check the downloads here:

There is a System Enhancements Disk for Windows XP (SP2) and a Tablet PC
Change Mode Service update - both from September, 2004.

Pen keeps writing when not touching the tablet.

John

Have seen this before on one of our TC1000's. It's the nib
in the pen sticking so it permanently thinks its touching
the screen. A little bit of gentle fiddling sometimes
helps, but otherwise its a new pen I'm afraid.

Battery lasts 18 months - 2 years

Re: Pen keeps writing when not touching the tablet.

Thanks guys - it is intermittent and the tc1000 came with an extra tip (nib?)
so I'll try that before ordering a new pen-thanks again.
