Re-Installing XP Tablet PC Edition

Hello!
I have a Compaq 1000 Tablet PC and it was being majorly bogged down by
problems involving it's previous owner's negligence. Anyway, I decided to
(stupidly) reformat the hard drive without realizing that I hadn't obtained
any Tablet PC Edition CD. I have received a CD with Professional Edition on a
CD and the "I386" folder for Tablet PC Edition on CD2. How can I integrate
the two so I can re-install this great OS?

Thanks! - James

Re: Re-Installing XP Tablet PC Edition

The Product Key on the sticker that should be on the Tablet somewhere will
tell the installer on the XP Pro CD to install XP Pro plus the TabletPC
superset. There is no special TabletPC edition of the XP Pro CD; all the
Tablet extras are on the XP Pro CD, the Product Key determines whether
they're installed or not.
