| Cross pen cap vs capless Has anyone had any experience with the Cross Penabled Tablet PC pens? http://www.cross.com/Catalog/PenDeta...ectronic%32Pen I like the capless version but I'm concerned that the tip will break off with. Does anyone know if it is retractable? The capped pen protects the tip but seems a bit more awkward to use -- it looks like you can choose to lose your cap or place it over the eraser ....which makes it a bit difficult to use the eraser! Any comments or insights would be appreciated :) Regards, -Tum |

| Re: Cross pen cap vs capless Yes, I've used both. The tip is not likely to break off. More probable is that the pocket clip might break off, but as of now, it's never happened here. I prefer the pen with the top, just because it feels better in my hand. It's a bit more heavy, so it feels more solid, although the capless pen is considerably more substantial than the stock Tablet pens. The tip isn't retractable, but it's much more durable than the standard tips we get with the standard Tablet pens. It may be my imagination, but things just seem to work better for me when I use the Cross pens. -- Terri Stratton Editor / Owner http://thetabletpc.net http://themediacenterpc.net Microsoft Windows MVP / Tablet PC "Thong Nguyen" <tum@veridicus.spamless.com> wrote in message news:eoUe6vD0EHA.1300@TK2MSFTNGP14.phx.gbl... > Has anyone had any experience with the Cross Penabled Tablet PC pens? > > http://www.cross.com/Catalog/PenDeta...ectronic%32Pen > > I like the capless version but I'm concerned that the tip will break off > with. | Re: Cross pen cap vs capless Thanks, that was very helpful :) I've decided to get the capped one as I can always leave the cap at home if I find that it's too much of a nuisance. I intend to carry the pen around in my trouser pocket so the inbuilt clip may end up being more annoying than useful. | Re: Cross pen cap vs capless LOL! Take a look for lint before you use it. 8-) I've got the capped model, and find trying to remember where I put the cap is the most problem I've had with it. -- Chris H.
