That said, Microsoft is always looking for ways to improve the Tablet software, but each language is a large undertaking. Gryphon, I speak and think slower than Terri. :) You can download a free program, abletRecoDemo that includes a number of foreign language Special Interest Dictionaries (SPIDs)from our website. It will let you test some of the Dutch words that are included in the full SPID. For applications that directly support ink entry, the words are also available for recognition. Users are indicating the words in the Portuguese SPID are more oriented toward Brazilian language usage. However, there is so much overlap, it is difficult to tell exactly which words are which. The lexicon includes over 18,000 words. We offer a couple of Dictionary Management Tools from our website with features for adding/deleting and editing words. In addition, you can download similar functionality from the Microsoft Power Toys for free.
