Office 2003 for Students and teachers

Hi. :)

I just got my Tablet on Thursday, and found it doesn't have Microsoft Office
on it. (That's what I get for assuming)

I was going to buy the Office 2003 for Students and Teachers since it was
cheap and I qualify and all, but I noticed when looking at the Office XP Pack
for Tablet PC it says that it works for the 2002 products. Does anyone know
if it will work on 2003 versions? One of the reason I got the Tablet was so
that I could take notes in class on it, and not being able to write in
non-typable things kind of defeats the purpose. I would just like to know so
I don't waste $100.

Thank you. :)

Re: Office 2003 for Students and teachers

It is rare that you will find a desktop, laptop or Tablet offered with
anything more than the OS.

The tablet extensions are for Office 2002, these features are built in to
Office 2003, so no extensions are needed.

Re: Office 2003 for Students and teachers

The native Ink and Handwriting capabilities in Office 2003 exceed those of
Office XP and the add-on Tablet Pack in place. Beside those items, Office
2003 is better than the 2002 version. 8-) Make sure you research the
prices because even the academic versions differ in cost. There is no
difference in the actual Office software.
