Pen Makes we Crazy

My pen seems determined to send me to the nut house. When I fill out a
dialog box all is well until I try and hit theclose or enter bar. Then,
the pointer will go any where on the screen But where it is supposed to!

Mouse still works.

What Tablet PC on you on? Are you running XP SP2 and the Tablet PC Edition
2005, and if so, have you also updated your drivers? If your Tablet uses
the Wacom drivers, which version are you running?

Motion Computing has their drivers on their website, Larry. Go to
http://www.motioncomputing.com/suppo...nload_1200.asp and download
those you need for updating. Likewise, the latest Wacom drivers are
available from their site: http://www.wacom.com/tabletpc/. I strongly
suggest doing the new driver installs in Safe Mode (boot using F8 for Safe
Mode), so nothing interferes with the installation.

Re: Pen Makes we Crazy

Very strange. I wonder if the digitizer is going out? Do you have a
Restore Point saved from when you installed the new driver (or post that
time when it was working correctly)? If so, what happens if you go back to
it?

I'd also give Motion support a call and tell them exactly what you're going
through. They're very supportive.
