| BuG: WIth different keyboard layouts and different languages. Hi , - In Windows xp regional settings one can define different languages which can be selected on the languagebar or in the input panel. - In the same location one can select different keyboard layouts. I have two different languages Englisch and Dutch. Both languages have different keyboard layouts one of them is selected as the default. Normally the Input Panel can only display the keyboard for the dutch language and not the handwriting or character area. But when I select another keyboard layout for the dutch language (using the language bar) the (dutch) handwriting area in the input panel comes available. Yet no single word is recognized (as if the recognizer is not started). Switching to the English language now also makes the recognizer unavailable for the English language. Bart |

| Re: WIth different keyboard layouts and different languages. Bart, you need to make sure the latest MUI for Tablet PC Edition 2005 is installed from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en and the settings match exactly between the Windows XP operating system and the selected MUI setting in Regional and Language Settings/Languages tab/Details button (Installed services). The updated Multilingual User Interface Recognition Pack (MUIRP) for XP SP2/Tablet PC Edition 2005, has not been released by Microsoft yet, nor have they announced a date for the release. -- Chris H.
