| Others cannot view my handwritten notes When I reply to emails and I "write" my replies, not everyone is able to see my notes. Some users can and some cannot. The same is true for when I am sending a new message, and when I am making notes in files. What do I need to do so that everyone can view my handwritten notes. |

| Re: Others cannot view my handwritten notes Is there any commonality among the recipients that cannot view the reply? Do they all use the same email client, same isp/company, using webmail? Outlook (Word actually) sends handwritten emails as inline embedded GIF attachments. These are supported by most modern readers but corporate policy or personal preference may result in some users viewing the text only version of your email or omitting the attachments. Many mail clients and webmails these days default to disabling inline images for the sake of privacy. While these privacy concerns generally apply to linked images, not embedded images, some email clients or web mails may not make a distinction. For example, I don't think hotmail knows the difference between an embedded inline image and a linked one. Outlook, however, does. So these are all possible reasons why you may be having trouble with handwritten email. -- J.
