Card bus with 2 port usb 2.0

I bought 1 Card bus with 2 port usb 2.0
This card is generic and i think the chipset come from NEC.
The FCC nuber is not present...

My hardware:
Tablet PC ACER TravelMate c100 with
XP french Tablet pc and SP2

When I insert the card the system requires the file
"usbohci.sys"

My source:
\I386\sp2.cab\usbohci.sys

The installation finishe correctly.

When i plug my USB 2.0 Flash Drive or other device the
problem is the same.

The system mount the volum E: OK.
When i go in the volum with graphic interface it's possible
for 5 second and next the system is busy.

In the same hardware with SP1 it's OK...

One idea?

Thank you!

Better greetings.

Re: Card bus with 2 port usb 2.0

I'd check Acer's web site for your locale and see if they have any updated
drivers - especially BIOS - to install. There seems to be issues with XP
SP2 installing and most companies are furnishing newer drivers.

Re: Card bus with 2 port usb 2.0

Yesterday I updated the BIOS but that did not
solve the case.

Re: Card bus with 2 port usb 2.0

In Device Manager, have you updated those drivers? I would check the Acer
site and make sure you've got the most current drivers installed. You may
need to reinstall the USB controllers, the composite device if your system
has that, and the Root Hub.
