troubles installing mouse on toshiba with xp tablet

The Mose is not working on one of my customers tablet pc's. It is a logitec
marble mouse.....and I have downloaded the newest xp drivers from logitecs
site.....but when I do the install and plug in the mouse......the device
manager says that the mouse drivers are sorrupt or missing???????

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Which Tablet PC and is it a USB device? Are you installing the drivers with
the anti-virus software disabled? Is the Tablet running Windows XP SP2 and
the Tablet PC Edition 2005?

It is a Toshiba Portege M200 and yes the mouse is a usb device. It is
running xp sp1 and the anti-virus software was not disabled at the time of
install.

Re: troubles installing mouse on toshiba with xp tablet

I'd suggest removing the mouse, remove the software and make sure the item
isn't shown in Device Manager. Then restart the system and plug it in. The
system should ask for the proper drivers, if necessary, at which time you
could install them. If that doesn't work, I'd suggest trying the Logitech
support area here:
http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/....php?c=US&l=EN
They may have specific methods of installing.
