Verizon's Wireless Net SW Not Work on Tablet OS XP but on XP?

Folks,
I have for over a year connected wirelessly to the net via Verizon's Mobile
Office SW on XP machines; but now I cannot get this SW to work on my Tablet.
It does not recognize the same modem. The Vzw folk are baffled. Is the
problem with the Tablet version of XP? It appears to be the Motorola
phone-modem driver is not recognized on the TXP but is on the XP. Why?
But I can get T-Mobile's cell phone modem to connect me on an XP or a TXP
machine.
Anyone with similar experiences? Or suggestions?
Joe

Could you describe your Tablet PC a bit. Which one do you have, and are you
using the internal wireless or a special card? Have you updated your Tablet
with the Windows XP operating system Service Pack 2 and the Tablet PC
Edition 2005 superset? If so, did you update your wireless setup
thereafter?

Are you using the same hardware? Or was the one that worked using a built in
modem?

I've seen similar issues where things just wouldn't work on a tablet - not
often, but they *do* happen. One person had a similar problem with some
proprietary software they had created for the notebooks they were using. He
ended up swapping out the modems (both were mini-pci) so the one they wrote
the software for was in the tablet, and it worked fine then. You may have a

I run a Verizon Aircard555 of a Toshiba 3500 with no problems. Lose that
caching app that comes with Verizon.
