| Anti-glare for Motion Computing M1400? Has anyone been annoyed with the lack of glare protection on their tablets? We have a Motion Computing M1400, and the glare is pretty much a distraction. We are planning to deploy it in a Primary Care setting where patients will be filling out the forms with these, and since we cannot turn off the lights, we need another solution. Is anywhere aware of any anti-glare products for this model? Any help will be greatly appreciated. |

| Re: Anti-glare for Motion Computing M1400? Many people have posted that screen protectors help with the glare on Tablets. Motion has an M1400 with a View Anywhere screen that works very well in bright lights, even in bright sunlight if you plan on buying additional machines. -- Terri Stratton Editor / Owner http://thetabletpc.net http://themediacenterpc.net Microsoft Windows MVP / Tablet PC <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:33c301c4a273$63ed6ea0$a601280a@phx.gbl... > Has anyone been annoyed with the lack of glare protection > on their tablets? | Re: Anti-glare for Motion Computing M1400? I have more of a problem with mine showing all the oil from handling throughout a normal day. It gets pretty ugly sometimes. You may end up having to clean it frequently. As far as glare, the M1400 has met my expectations. -- howard <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:33c301c4a273$63ed6ea0$a601280a@phx.gbl... > Has anyone been annoyed with the lack of glare protection > on their tablets? | Re: Anti-glare for Motion Computing M1400? You know what makes a dandy little clean-up tool for that? Those little wipes for glasses, like the pre-moistened Lens Cloths available from Wal-Mart Vision Centers. They're gentle, don't scratch and do a good job cleaning the screens. If I'm quick enough, I can clean my glasses and a Tablet PC screen with the same cloth. 8-) -- Chris H. | Re: Anti-glare for Motion Computing M1400? Hi Chris, Aren't they a paper product? I thought that the manual indicated that we shouldn't use any wood by-product to clean the screen. | Re: Anti-glare for Motion Computing M1400? I don't believe they are paper, Howard. I know my wife, who is an optician, gets after me if I try to use anything else on my glasses. | Re: Anti-glare for Motion Computing M1400? Well how can they be disposable if they're not a paper product? I know they can be cloth but it doesn't sound very economical. I've been using the scotch-brite cloth that came with it and a little water from my water bottle. -- howard "Chris H." <winxpnews********.com> wrote in message news:ut9Y$a0oEHA.2340@TK2MSFTNGP11.phx.gbl... >I don't believe they are paper, Howard. If they can make lavatory paper out of cotton I'm sure that disposable screen/spectacle wipes can't be a problem. |

| Re: Anti-glare for Motion Computing M1400? Is there any indication on the machine that you have the ViewAnywhere screen ? My M1400 seems to have a good screen and handles different light levels well, but there's nowhere I can see that it actually confirms that its ViewAnywhere, as opposed to just being a good screen. | Re: Anti-glare for Motion Computing M1400? Hi Mike, I'm not sure about which product you're referring to but I found following FAQ at the Cottonelle site. I assume that by lavatory paper you're referring to toilet paper. Is Cottonelle® Toilet Paper made with any recycled fiber? No, it is made with virgin wood fibers. -- howard "Mike Williams [MVP]" <mikew@Nospam.mvps.org> wrote in message news:415625FD.80206@Nospam.mvps.org... > Howard Cross wrote: >> Well how can they be disposable if they're not a paper product? | Re: Anti-glare for Motion Computing M1400? Ainsley, Mine has a label on the back in lower right hand corner stating it is a View Anywhere display.
