| eraser I am using a Cross/Wacom pen with eraser head on a Fujitsu 4110 with SP2 installed. I have installed the driver from the Wacom site (v4.79-4). I have the "use top of pen to erase (where available)" option checked in Tablet And Pen settings and Erase selected for top of pen on the Wacom menu. Still, the eraser head does not seem to do anything useful in any program. The TIP interprets it as the writing tip. Am I missing anything? Avner. |

| Re: eraser Depends, since you didn't say which programs you're trying to use it in. The Tablet Input Panel, for instance, supports scratch-out and not erasure. My Wacom erases fine in OneNote SP1 and Word 2003, for instance. Where are you having issues, and are you depressing the end a bit as you're erasing? -- Chris H. | Re: eraser The no erasure in TIP remains one of my pet peeves. That, and what to do with the cap on the Cross when you're actually writing with it? If you put it on the back of the pen (normal position for a cap), you can't use the eraser at all. Definite design problem! -- Charlie. | Re: eraser I am sorry report that I have not yet mastered the scratch out gesture. Sometimes it works and sometimes I must repeat it a number of times. Can any of you guys give a list of the programs that do support the pen eraser? Avner. Josh Einstein wrote: > Scratch out is so much quicker. | Re: eraser I don't believe any listing exists. It is sort of a trial and error method, since some programs provide both support for the pen eraser and an eraser button for those pens without erasers. You might be interested in the gestures information which includes a sample of what the scratch-out should look like: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u.../gestures.mspx -- Chris H.
