| Re: tablet pc in health care sector Charlie, I don't believe there are any official statistics tracked or charted, however you may be interested in the information here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/t...e/default.mspx The articles available include case studies from three of the major OEMs, Fujitsu, Hewlett-Packard and Motion in three different, yet related, medical uses. -- Chris H. | RE: tablet pc in health care sector of course, my experience is anecdotal, but having created over 8,000 patient notes in a three provider clinic running Motion 1200 and 1300 tablets, we have had excellent experience with these tablets. After 2 years use, I just had a drive failure on one of the 1200s. Any network problems in the beginning were with our Linksys access points; now all is fine. Most definitive is the type of medical record software you run. It must integrate well with the point/graphic interface that the tablet pc provides. Chartware is the best program I've found, Jonathon Pierce MD "Charlie Chau" wrote: > > Hi, > > Do you have any statistic (satisfactions, easy to use, save money, etc) of > the tablet pc is using in the health care sector? > > Thanks, > /CC. > > |

| Re: tablet pc in health care sector ON INTERPRETATION by Aristotle translated by E. M. Edghill Electronically Enhanced Text (c) Copyright 1996, World Library(R) CHAPTER 1 - First we must define the terms 'noun' and 'verb', then the terms 'denial' and 'affirmation', then 'proposition' and 'sentence'. Spoken words are the symbols of mental experience and written words are the symbols of spoken words. Just as all men have not the same writing, so all men have not the same speech sounds, but the mental experiences, which these directly symbolize, are the same for all, as also are those things of which our experiences are the images. This matter has, however, been discussed in my treatise End of Quote from Aristotle's book, "On Interpretation". Given the aforementioned qaote and the reasonable deductions from the same, tablet PC's are an extremely efficient and accurate means of of recording, transfering, and printing "those mental experiences" that are necessary for patient care. Without the same, the rational and "scientific method" of patient care and delivery are obviously significantly compromised. Mr. C.V. Compton Shaw, R.N., CLA B.S. Biochemistry |

| RE: tablet pc in health care sector You might want to contact Motion. Half their sales are to Health Care. They may keep stats.
