| Operating System Language Problem Please Help. I just brought a tablet PC in Korea. It came with an OEM XP Tablet PC Edition Operating System. The problem is that all the menus, dialogue boxes, error messages, etc. are in Korean (It takes me forever to read Korean and even longer to understand what I read). There is a multiligual user interface, but it can only be installed on an English version. Is it legal for me to download the English version of the OS and register it using the OEM product code? If not, what can I do? Any help is greatly appreciated. |

If not, what can I do? No. You'll have to ask your OEM to swap it out or return it. |

| Re: Operating System Language Problem Thank you. Though I suspected I couldn't, I wanted to make sure. Would you happen to know if Microsoft would swap it for me? The tablet version is only availible as an OEM or to developers. I have spent the ENTIRE day trying to find a place (both computer and software distributers and retailers) that has the English version without success. |

| Re: Operating System Language Problem The OEM source is your only recourse, since you bought the machine from that source. The licensing of the media you received with the Tablet is for that particular computer. -- Chris H.
