| T1000 and Tablet 2005 I installed Windows XP SP2 (Tablet 2005 OS) on a Compaq T1000. Install went fine and all of my programs worked well except that I cannot get the computer to sync with a computer projector. I contacted HP support and they said they had no answers for SP2 problems (pretty typical of lousy HP support). They suggested I go back to the original OS. ANy suggestions? |

| Re: T1000 and Tablet 2005 Hi I had a techie of mine install SP2 today with to sync with a Toshiba Projector only to find it wouldn't work. In this case, the TC1000 saw the projector, but wouldn't connect to it. Found the problem was a misunderstanding on the techs part. He was using the display utility, but hadn't run the Wireless Projection Utility first to select the projector that the display utility uses to display what's on teh screen. HTH (it sounds a bit complicated and rambly though) "wvencill" <wvencill@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:EBD5872F-46BB-4302-A8E7-A8167C5FBDBE@microsoft.com... >I installed Windows XP SP2 (Tablet 2005 OS) on a Compaq T1000. | Re: T1000 and Tablet 2005 Thanks. If I played with the display settings, I could get the tablet pc to show on the screen, but none of the program icons. HP had listed a bulletin on how to handle this problem with SP1, but when I tried to use it under SP2, none of the settings were there (i.e. click on clone radio button under nView Display tab; the clone radio button is gone with SP2). | Re: T1000 and Tablet 2005 I had pretty much the same problem with a tc1100 and I re-installed the display drivers and all worked fine. The other issue I had was that the 3 hard coded buttons on the tc1100 for display rotation, Journal and TIP would not work. Re-installing the display driver fixed this as well All fine...................................... | Re: T1000 and Tablet 2005 I reinstalled the video drivers and the driver settings came back. It worked just fine. Thanks for the advice.
