Input Panel problems with Averatec 3500C

I installed SP2 on my Averatec 3500 convertible and have
a problem in all progames with the new input panel
feature. Whenever I try to hit the floating input panel
icon it disappears as I approach it with the pen and
comes back when I remove the pen. If I am quick enough I
can open the input panel and begin to write, then it
disappears again after a couple of words. I see posting
for a number of issues with the input panel. Is this
particular problem happening with other Tablet PCs or
just Averatec?

Am I going to have to wait or a driver fix from Averatec?

Re: Input Panel problems with Averatec 3500C

What Options do you have set for the Tablet Input Panel, Nick? There are a
couple timing items for automatic Insert of whatever is written. Have you
checked those? I've got a couple step-by-step tutorials on my web site, if
you'd like to run through the setup.
