Hi - I have a custom job to do for a client on a tablet pc. This will be my
first on the platform. Is there anything I should know or is it the same as
windows development. I have developed for windows using C++, c# and vb and
vbce, c# for the pocketpc.

What are the big gotchas on the OS? Where are the best resources for help?

Paul, I would suggest you post to the
microsoft.public.windows.tabletpc.developer newsgroup. This one is more for
users, not programmers. You can ask away over there, and receive excellent
guidance. I'd also suggest you take a look around the official Tablet PC
Developer Center: http://msdn.microsoft.com/mobility/t...c/default.aspx
There is a whole lot of information, including very great links there.
