| changing resolution I have an HP tx2510us convertible. I changed the screen resolution from native so I could see the screen better. When I do that, it leaves a persistent "artifact" on the screen when I use a drop-down menu. The selection remains on the screen until I close the lid. (go into stand by) I have updated the video drivers to the latest. This is a touch and digitizer type screen. Any Ideas about how to stop this? -- |

| Re: changing resolution >> changed the screen resolution from native << not exactly sure what you mean by this, but the description would point to the screen drivers as the responsible party. Two thoughts... try rightclicking the desktop and "refresh" to see if that is a temp fix. As for "seeing the screen better," can you post some additional information such as what the "native" resolution is and what you can't see... for example, selecting "large fonts" on the screen setup may be a better solution to the need.
