| Wireless Network issues after SP2 OK this is weird, Had the table (tc100) running on a wireless network at home for 7 months, installed sp2 and now if I remove the mains power I lose the network? put the power back and up it comes again. I have installed the two driver updates from HP for the Intel chipset but this has had no effect. I thought it was a power thing so I tried to overrule them and give max to all settings, still nothing! I have removed SP2 but no change, I am trying to re-install it again as I type. Any ideas?? Thanks |

| Re: Wireless Network issues after SP2 Check your Power Options in Control Panel and/or the adapter settings in Device Manager/Network Adapters. I would believe you probably have a setting which shuts down the wireless when you switch to battery operation as a conservation method. -- Chris H. | Re: Wireless Network issues after SP2 I don't know, Mark. You might try contacting Compaq/HP support. It would be interesting to hear what they say. -- Chris H. | Re: Wireless Network issues after SP2 I have a TC1100 and SP2. No problem with the wireless. No special settings. No utility.
