Hi,

Are there any ways that I can replace the TIP by the journal notes in the
tablet PC. It means that anytime I click on the textbox, I can activate
the journal notes of Tablet PC.

I don't believe so, Charlie, but you could put a shortcut to Windows Journal
either on your desktop or QuickLaunch bar (Taskbar area) where a single tap
would launch it.

Thanks Chris,

I still have some problems with the handwritten recognition, It does not
work well 100% as I expected. Some words still are not recongnized by the
system. I try to go around by using the journal note.

What are you having issues with, Charlie? Have you added the words to the
dictionary?

The problems that I have are I have ten users who try to write on the
table PC one at a time. During the interview, those users have to take
notes. Some of their handwritten words are not recognized by the Tablet
PC, which will give a funny words. The users can not remember the exact
words after the recognitions. That is why I want to save all of their real
handwritten on the journal notes.

They're using Tablet PC Edition 2005? The new TIP offers suggestions on the
words as they're written. How do you get 10 arms on a single Tablet? 8-)
If you're using 10 Tablets with Windows Journal on each, the handwriting
should be preserved before conversion to text, and notes easily edited
before that conversion. It is fairly easy to edit, erase and even print an
unrecognized word before converting to text.
