those people who take seriously the warning on the MS website that says don't
use this version for single computers.

Is there any problem with installing this on my one M 1400?

Lloyd, the "network" package is everything - literally. If you don't mind
downloading the full package, go for it. You can use it on your LAN, if you
have one, to upgrade all your Windows XP machines. Otherwise, just wait.
It'll come through Windows Update. Details are here:
