Just thanks - fantastic work guys.
No problems with Itunes and airport express, Kazzaa, home
wireless network, MSN messenger. remote desktop works
also.

Can't understand why the scare stories. Highly
recommended.

Because with any update, especially one of this magnitude, there will
inevitably be cases that just don't work.

But yes, I highly recommend it too.

Re: SP2 Tablet 2005 Great

I would argue that if an application doesn't work under SP2, but did work
under SP1, it is either:
a) a bug, or
b) something that should NOT work because it's doing something ill-advised
that creates a potential security hole.

Re: SP2 Tablet 2005 Great

That's not true, Charlie. Microsoft sets forth several guidelines for
creating applications. With every new OS release those guidelines change in
some way.

Even Microsoft's own applications will have problems until they are updated
to comply with new restrictions SP2 imposes. For example, MS CRM has its own
problems with SP2 and several areas on MSDN will need updating as well.

And lets not forget that SP2 will undoubtedly introduce new bugs, as all new
code releases do.

SP2 Tablet 2005 Great

My first attempt at using sp2 .... I must say, I'm
impressed. The new input panel is awesome. Maybe someone
can tell me why initially the input panel has trouble
recognizing input is writing? All in all, I really
like this tablet update. Excellent job MS programmers.
