Need some help with Tablet 1300VA install. Put on my laptop with NO PROBLEMS.
On 1300, I get a ACCESS DENIED error "cannot complete install" error.

I searched around but not too much tablet centric help out there. Again, all
LEGAL(OEM installed) copies of all software, and it did install fine on my
desktop, and laptop. So think it has something to do with TabletXP. Again,
thanks.

Had RC2 on, like it. Tried RTM install, no luck above error. So removed
RC2 via Control Panel, not luck with SP2 RTM install. So need some advice.

How far in(minutes or other progress indicators) does this error come up?

Is the SP2 file identical(on a common CD) for all three cases and not a
different download?

Did if fail identically here?

Are you installing from "the" Administrator account, or an account with
Admin rights? What happens if you create a new account with Admin rights
and try installing from there?

Access denied could actually be because a file is in use. Even if your have
full permissions. Shut down all apps and as many services as you can.
