| Re: error messages 1606 and 1314 insufficient data capt'n You have given almost no information to formulate any suggestions... such as software, software version, pc make/model/os, even the numbers are not relevant without some frame of reference. Beverly Howard [MS MVP-Mobile Devices] |

| Re: error messages 1606 and 1314 Well, Im installing on a Windows XP SP2 on advise of corel deinstalled sp3. Im trying to install Word Perfect. When i tried the first time to install i got an error 1606. Then the second time i tried i got the error message 1314. With support of Corel we tried many things, made a new admin account. This did not work. Also disabled all processes in msconfig except the windows processes. Turned off the Firewall and Virus program. This didn't work i keep on getting the error message 1314. We tried to install in safe mode and then i got the message that im not allowed to install due to software policy. And then again the error message 1314. Corel does not know how to work around the error message and they are really helpfull but it is the stupid error message that is stopping me to install. | Re: error messages 1606 and 1314 Thanks for the additional info. If the error message is corel's they are the only one who is going to have the error information... you might try a google for them... for example, googling for "Word Perfect" error 1606 pulled up a number of responses which might be relevant. Next, it appears that this is not a tablet specific issue... suggest reposting on a general windows or Word Perfect forum. Beverly Howard [MS MVP-Mobile Devices] |

| Re: error messages 1606 and 1314 Hi Thank you for your reaction, I have tried to install on an another Computer and it installed perfectly. We have checked the pc and it was that the registry was broken. Thank you for all info "Beverly Howard [Ms-MVP/MobileDev]" wrote: > Thanks for the additional info. > > If the error message is corel's they are the only one who is going to > have the error information... you might try a google for them... for > example, googling for > > "Word Perfect" error 1606 > > pulled up a number of responses which might be relevant. > > Next, it appears that this is not a tablet specific issue... suggest > reposting on a general windows or Word Perfect forum. > > Beverly Howard [MS MVP-Mobile Devices] > > |
