| Landscape to Portrait feature I own a Gateway CX210X Tablet PC and all of the sudden I can't go from Landscape mode to Portrait. I keep getting the following message "The setting you requested cannot be supported. Open Display, in Control Panel, adjust the settings, andthen try to change orientation again." Nothing seems to work. Of course Gateways crackerjack team of support folk say to just restore to original factory and deal with all the reloading. I have tried reloading the video drivers and the button drivers. Nothing helps. Ideas? -- Peavey Bassman |

| Re: Landscape to Portrait feature Have you let MS Automatic Updates have its way with your machine? If so, roll back to a point where you remember that things used to work. New updates occasionally break things. I would personally suspect .NET Framework updates - lots of the Tablet "features" depend on .NET. | Re: Landscape to Portrait feature Thanks and yes I did let my guard down and was violated..... I did attempt to go back before the last Frameworks updated and it did not work. -- Peavey Bassman "V Green" wrote: > Have you let MS Automatic Updates have its > way with your machine? > > If so, roll back to a point where you remember > that things used to work. | Re: Landscape to Portrait feature You might have to go back further than just the last update... Not something you're looking forward to, I am sure. | RE: Landscape to Portrait feature I had the same thing happen and solved it by updating my display drivers.
