Hi all - currently trying to buy a m200 tablet pc in the UK - trouble is the
UK version is made in germany and comes with the older banias CPU and a very
slow hard drive 4200 - also teh UK site doesnt allow you to customise the
specs of the machine like the US site does.

i went to the US site and customised the m200 with a 2ghz new dothan cpu and
a 60 gig 7200 hard drive and overall it was only 100 pounds more than the UK
version and that is a complete rip off.

So im looking on buying the US version customised can anyone tell me if
there are any UK stores/sites that will order this for me? or if they will
customise it for me, or if its best to buy from toshiba in the US?

Either solution is possible. Just make sure you get the right insurance and
warranty on your tablet and that the right taxes are paid.

Check the Toshiba website for official resellers and customizing your tablet
the way you want it shouldn't be too hard.

Good luck and have fun with the tablet! Don't forget to install SP2 when it
comes out; the Tablet PC enhancements are a must have!
