i've got access 2000 and windows xp tablet.
when i double clicking on a .mdb file, i get the creation of the locking
file .ldb, but access doesn't load and (of course) the .mdb file doesn't
load.
if i open acces and use the file.open commands, i can load the file.

Re: access and tablet xp

Kurt, I would suggest you post your issues to the microsoft.public.access
newsgroup, including the description as you have here. The Microsoft Access
MVPs would be much better able to assist you.

Re: access and tablet xp

I use Access constantly on a tablet and have had no problems. Have you tried
loading your mdb on a diffferent machine? If you still have the problem on a
non tablet, then it is a good indicator that it is not a tablet issue.

You should check in one of the Access forums
