| Printing to Journal Note Writer cuts off right side of page One of the great things about a TabletPC is the ability to save the contents of a Web page (or other files you are viewing) by "printing" to the Journal Note Writer so that it can be read later when you have more time and annotated in Windows Journal. However, I find that part of the text on the right side of some web pages (e.g., MS TechNet) is cut off in the document image that is saved to Journal, which makes it useless. Has anybody figured out a way to avoid this problem? Tnx, Gerry |

Has anybody figured > out a way to avoid this problem? Tnx, I have seen this problem when printing many web sites to a regular printer as well. I believe it is a problem of poor web site design and a bug in Internet Explorer. I have even had this problem when printing to the Adobe Acrobat printer driver so it must have to do with the data that is being sent to the driver from IE. My 'solution' has always been to switch to landscape mode when 'printing' these pages. I have tried every combination of page size, font size, and reduction possible but it just never works unless you switch to printing in landscape mode. |

| Re: Printing to Journal Note Writer cuts off right side of page Another tip I've picked up is to go into IE and type "&b&b" (without the quotes) in the footer section of page setup, which centers the message on the page. I've never had the problem, so I can't test this, but it fixed right edge cutoff for the person who posted the tip.
