| RE: draging tabletpc input panel to a second display I have a tablet running business. My understanding is that the panel would only be displayed on the screen with input ability and you wouldn't want to write on a external LCD so there would be no reason to bring it to another screen. Perhaps I misunderstood, but I can't see a need to move it. "robert" wrote: > Hi recently installed a little 7 inch tft on my computer im running vista > x64. | RE: draging tabletpc input panel to a second display See it will only display the panel on my primary monitor wich isnt a touch screen just a 22 inch lcd. It will not let me drag it to the secondary monitor wich is a 7 inch touch screen. So basically the input panel cant be used where needed. If i se the 7 inch lcd up as the primary monitor the panel appears on it, but im obviously not going to use a 7 inch screen as my primary. | RE: draging tabletpc input panel to a second display You could. You can customize the secondary monitor so it looks practically just like a Primary. You can move the taskbar, desktop icons, etc. all to the secondary and go from there. You can also set the resolutions up the way you want, etc. Good Luck "robert" wrote: > See it will only display the panel on my primary monitor wich isnt a touch > screen just a 22 inch lcd. | RE: draging tabletpc input panel to a second display I also have this problem. My tablet is the secondary with no taskbar etc and my primary a big LCD. THe input panel won't go onto the tablet monitor. "robert" wrote: > Hi recently installed a little 7 inch tft on my computer im running vista > x64. | Re: draging tabletpc input panel to a second display My experience with this is that the tip is not "draggable" Your question prompted me to experiment, and, while I didn't find an answer to the "tip" question, I did discover that... ....the taskbar _can_ be dragged to the aux window! This is going to meet a few needs that I have had in the docked mode and I'm using a ksu to run my primary desktop. if it's just keyboard input you need, RUN/OSK should meet the need as it's draggable.
