Snpping tool 2.0 DDE error.

Hello All,

When I try to bring up the MS snipping tool I get ta box with this follow
error:

"The DDE server did not acknowledge the command, within the time allowed.
Application=, Topic="

And a OK clickbox.

I've tried: Uninstalling, re-installing, Uninstalling, removing registry
keys and deleting the snipping tool directory under Program files, then
reinstalling. removing all my Startup files, my boot files in Autoruns and
even booting in Safe Mode. It still starts with this error and never comes
up.
I tried to hack to have the Snipping Tool autorun before everything else at
Windows start with no success either.

I am on XP Pro SP2 if that helps.

Any ideas out there what the problem is?

Thanks,

GB
