upgrading base score

hi,
i just have a new tablet pc (tx1410us). from the system, it says that my
base score is 3.0. i want to increase it by upgrading. any suggestion what
should i upgrade?

Re: upgrading base score

The scoring section has a feature that tells you what each section is
contributing, video, RAM, Processor. The value you see is the lowest value,
so you may not be able to do much if the video or CPU is the lowest common
denominator. More RAM is almost always a good thing, but it may not change
your score.

i upgraded the RAM in my tc4400 from 1GB to 2.5GB and the base score went
down. think about that before upgrading the RAM. thats what we get now a
days for having shared RAM (graphics instead of dedicated) and dual channel
RAM. it all adds up in your base score. sometimes less RAM gives you a
higher base score because of the technologies it runs off of.
