Tablet PC and Linksys Presentation Player..

I am in need of some advice, I am a tech/admin/support specialist for an elementary school and we have decided to try implementing a Tablet connecting to a Linksys WPG12 wireless presentation player. It seems that the XP tablet OS is not compatible with Linksys's Configuration Software.

Has anyone had any success with Wireless video and their tablet PC?

Thanks for any help!

What specific problems are you having?

It's a year or so since I've done it, but i have streamed video to several
Tablets via Linksys equipment.

Re: Tablet PC and Linksys Presentation Player..

I'm not familiar with that particular Linksys wireless but I've set-up
Linksys routers and access points from my tablet. We just did a firmware
update on the routers and reconfigured them from my tablet.

Might check for an update on the firmware for that particular player.

The Linksys Presentation Gateway software will not find the Gateway, therefore it will not send video.

Were you using the Wireless Video, the goal here is to allow the user to walk around a classroom writing on the Tablet and having it projected. A walk around Document camera.

Any help is really appreciated!

Thanks for all your replies.

Re: Tablet PC and Linksys Presentation Player..

Could you post some details of what you're trying to do, how the wireless is
set up? I'm not familiar with, nor have ever used the software you're
trying to use, so don't know if you need a regular network (with a base
station) or adhoc network setup. What does the Linksys support area say?
