Hello all ! New to this group but here goes.
I have just obtained a new tablet PC to try and tie into our network here at work. WE recieved the iXplore 104 tablet and I am trying to configure a wireless PCMCIA card to provide access to our lan. The unit arrived with the infamous SP@ hotfix already installed. In trying to install and configure the Linksys wireless adapter I have been having numerous problems most of which I think I have resolved, but it seems that even when the Tablet PC does connect the connection seems very unstable and when the connection is dropped it does not seem to reestablish or update itself reliably or in a timely manner. Linksys has a knowlegebase article that reccomends removing the SP2 hotfix but in reading thru the info here and else where on the microsoft site Im a bit confused regarding which fixes and patches I need to uninstall, install or even which version of the OS I have on the unit...A bit of guidence would be very appreciated....By the way we are very impressed with the computer and I would reccomend them.
