Loosing SD Slot on T4515

I _think_ this is related to using hibernation.

The SD (Media card) slot disappears sometime after rebooting... i.e.
it's there when I reboot, but somewhere down the line, the slot
disappears from file explorer.

Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone know of a cure?

fwiw, the easiest and quickest way to get it back is to open device
manager and have it scan for hardware changes.

Re: Loosing SD Slot on T4515

Before I dumped Vista for XPT, there was a Windows Update
for SD in the slug of stuff I downloaded.

If you're running XP, never mind...

More info:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/933847/en-us

------------------
Issue that is fixed in this package
In addition to the new features that are enabled,
this package fixes a problem in which the SD
card may occasionally stop responding after a
Windows Vista-based computer resumes from sleep
(S3) or from hibernation (S4).
---------------------

That sounds promising...
