"Problem copying"

I just got a new computer for my birthday, and decided to try XP 64 via the
trial version. I downloaded the .ISO file to my Acer C310, but when I try to
burn the CD I keep getting two error messages. At first I only got a
"Problem copying" error giving me no extra information and the options to
retry or cancel. Now I am getting a "confirm stream loss" error window
saying there is extra information that might be lost if I continue copying,
but it will not affect the contents of the file. After trying to continue
anyways, I get the first error again. I am running fully updated XP Tablet
5.1 with Service Pack 2, and my burner's driver is HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GMA-4080N.
I'm having trouble finding the driver brand/name, but I tried to upgrade the
driver using the Device Manager and no better driver was found.

Any ideas? The only thing I can think of is trying to burn a different file
to see if the drive itself has crapped out on me.

Re: "Problem copying"

Try downloading the latest version of WinRAR and extracting the ISO that
way. If I recall correctly, there was an issue with the Visual Studio 2008
beta ISO as well that had this issue because many software programs that
work with ISO's can't handle the new DVD format.

I just checked the WinRAR version history and the ISO format is called ISO
13346 (UDF). So if that's what you've got, it's likely that your burning
software can't handle it. Try to extract it with WinRAR 3.71.
